Scope the purchase before marking answers
Choose a specific product, platform, buyer route and payment method. A store can support an ordinary checkout while a new agent interface still lacks delivery recovery. Assess the actual intended journey rather than giving the entire business a broad readiness label.
For a teaching example, imagine a $29 digital report with a one-time buyer limit of $35. The useful result is one permitted payment and access to the correct edition. The values are synthetic and do not represent a tested merchant transaction.
Merchant purchase readiness worksheet
The selected edition or variant has an unambiguous identifier.
The offer states exactly what the customer receives.
The agent route checks the authoritative availability or capacity.
The actual product type is supported by the intended route.
The buyer can identify the intended seller.
The merchant calculates the final payable amount.
The quote clearly identifies what the buyer pays.
Material changes trigger the applicable authority check.
The caller receives a specific supported next action.
The implemented quote and availability rules are explicit.
The final purchase fits the buyer’s current authority.
The implemented route verifies the required caller context.
Payment secrets stay within their supported handling boundary.
The route stops for necessary customer confirmation.
The configured receiving account or wallet is correct.
The order uses a verified financial outcome.
An uncertain attempt can be resolved before another purchase.
Supported retries preserve one intended financial action.
The customer and support can identify the purchase later.
Repeated or delayed events preserve coherent order state.
The buyer receives the purchased variant or license.
Delivery failure does not require another payment.
The actual payment route has an assigned resolution workflow.
Success and material failure cases have expected outcomes.
Use four states and keep the evidence
Pass means you have evidence for this configuration. Fail means the current behavior does not meet the requirement. Unknown means the answer has not been established. Not applicable needs a reason tied to the actual route; it should not hide a missing payment or authority check.
The checks are recommendations organized around a complete purchase. Current protocol documentation defines the exact fields and operations where applicable. Use the official contract for ACP, UCP or another selected route, and verify channel eligibility separately. A protocol implementation is not automatic merchant onboarding. [1] [2]
Export concrete work rather than a score
Review failed and unknown items first. Assign the next action to the catalog, checkout, payment, delivery or operations owner. A single unresolved financial ownership issue can be more consequential than several minor catalog issues, so this tool does not turn answers into a universal percentage score.
The export preview illustrates the kind of work record to keep. Your selected answers can be exported in JSON, Markdown or CSV. Save on this device stores the worksheet locally in your browser when you request it; Clear removes that saved local state. The site does not receive the answers.
Example blocker export
- Item
- Payment status retrieval
- Assessment
- Unknown in this illustrative review
- Next action
- Payment owner documents and tests retrieval of the original attempt after a timeout.
- Evidence to add
- Supported operation, configuration date and observed acceptance result.
Fail and unknown answers appear here as you complete the worksheet. Keep an owner and next action for each unresolved control.
Follow the route that resolves the blocker
Use the platform guide for channel and connector questions, the authentication guide for purchase authority, the checkout API guide for current terms and retries, and order management for fulfilment. The gateway guide helps assign financial operations and event ownership.
Agentify’s affiliated public HTTP audit checks website signals and readability. It can support an initial investigation of how an offer is presented. It does not guarantee that ChatGPT recommends a product or that a purchase can complete. Use the transaction worksheet and actual acceptance evidence for those separate questions. [3]
